The Second Annual International Conference on Police Studies (AICoPS 2026)

Welcome to The Second Annual International Conference on Police Studies (AICoPS 2026), the second international conference dedicated to fostering global academic discussion on police studies, law enforcement, public security, and contemporary policing challenges. More information regarding the conference, registration, and publication opportunities is available at the official website: AICoPS 2026 Official Website.

Under the theme “Professional Policing in the Age of Global Risks and Digital Threats,” AICoPS 2026 focuses on the evolving challenges of police professionalism in addressing transnational crime, cybercrime, digital threats, and hybrid security risks within an increasingly interconnected world. The conference emphasizes the strategic development of institutional capacity, evidence-based policing, ethical law enforcement, digital transformation, and human resource competency to support adaptive and professional policing systems capable of responding effectively to contemporary global risks and technological disruption.

About AICoPS 2026

In the era of globalization, digital transformation, and increasing international connectivity, the landscape of security and crime has fundamentally changed. Crimes are no longer local in nature but increasingly transnational, organized, and technology-driven, including cybercrime, international terrorism, human trafficking, financial crimes, and hybrid security threats. At the same time, law enforcement institutions are facing growing public demands for transparency, accountability, professionalism, and the protection of human rights in every aspect of policing.

To respond to these complex challenges, modern policing requires adaptive, collaborative, and evidence-based approaches. Therefore, there is a strong need for an international academic and professional forum that brings together scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and law enforcement institutions from various countries and disciplines to exchange ideas, share research findings, and discuss practical experiences in policing and law enforcement.

AICoPS 2026 serves as a global platform to encourage scientific dialogue, strengthen international collaboration, and promote the development of evidence-based policing policies and practices. Through keynote sessions, academic presentations, and interdisciplinary discussions, the conference aims to contribute to the transformation of modern policing systems that are professional, ethical, adaptive, and responsive to contemporary global risks.

“Professional Policing in the Age of Global Risks and Digital Threats”

This theme highlights the challenges of police professionalism in addressing the expanding spectrum of global risks, including transnational crimes, cybercrime, and hybrid security threats. The discussion focuses on strengthening institutional capacity, enhancing human resource competencies, and strategically utilizing technology to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement. In this context, professionalism is understood not only as compliance with procedures, but also as the ability to respond adaptively, ethically, and based on evidence to the dynamics of global security challenges.
